Overview

Pico is currently seeking candidates for a Sales Engineer position. Overview

Responsibilities

This includes, but is not limited to the following services:

  • Equipment Rack and Stack
  • Cable, Label & terminate fiber or copper network cabling
  • Assist with the diagnosis of hardware and software
  • Perform cabinet/cage audits
  • Blade/Card, Memory, Hard Drive, and Transceiver installations or removal
  • Testing and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic circuits

Project Manager / Business Analyst

Overview

Pico is looking to fill a Project Manager (PM) / Business Analyst (BA) position. The PM /BA will work closely with clients and/or teams across the firm to assess and document requirements, construct high-level project plans / proposals, coordinate delivery and communicate status of various initiatives. The PM /BA will be expected to become a Subject Matter Expert on any project to which they are assigned, and will be the point of contact for status, timelines, and risk factors of their projects to management and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements-gathering sessions with clients and/or Pico internal teams and document decisions / action items
  • Translate complicated concepts into clear documentation for a general audience
  • Create and maintain project plans and manage projects through to implementation, with regular communication to clients / vendors / management via status meetings, emails, etc.
  • Interface with technical teams to coordinate resourcing and produce detailed project plans
  • Evaluate all key project deliverables, as well as final product, to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and customer acceptance
  • PM /BA may also be asked to perform other tasks such as product research, sales presentations, software testing, vendor assessment/liaison, etc.

Pico is currently seeking candidates for our SQL Database Administrator opening. Qualified candidates must be proficient with MSSQL and MySQL.

 Database:

  • Management of Pico and Pico managed Database systems
  • Expected to troubleshoot database issues.
  • Maintenance, administration, troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of database systems.
  • Performance and optimization of databases.
  • Provide criteria, requirements, and solutions around database monitoring
  • Assist with the certification, upgrading and patching of all database products

 DevOps:

  • Automation of operational task
  • Automated custom report generation for proprietary systems

Required Database Experience:

  • Microsoft SQL
    • Clustering, Geoclustering & Replication
  • MySQL
    • Galera a plus
  • MongoDB
    • Clustering and replication
  • Design for optimized queries

Optional (Plus) Database Experience:

  • Innodb a plus
  • Vertica a plus
  • Postgres a plus

Preferred DevOps skills:

  • OS Experience in Redhat
    • Administration
    • Configuration management
  • OS Experience in Windows
    • Server Applications
    • Services
    • Scheduled Jobs
  • Scripting
    • Python
    • Bash
    • PowerShell a plus
    • Ansible a plus

Additional Requirements:
